Clean Energy Bridge to Research REU
Professor Christine Luscombe has been awarded a new three year NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Site #1559787 titled “Clean Energy Bridge to Research”. The program will offer a 4 week exploratory research for freshmen and a 9 week full bridge experience for undergraduates currently at two year colleges. In the pilot year 7 students participated in research in CEI labs involved with innovative solar and battery technologies. The goal is to train students and increase diversity in the field by providing a supporting and transformative experience early in students careers.
