For students ages 8-15 and their parents and teachers: Join us August 27 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (Pacific Time) to meet scientists who are shaping the future of clean energy. UW graduate student Amy Stegmann will present “Everyday Life at the Nanoscale,” and graduate student Mitchell Kaiser will talk about “Building the Future with Molecular Legos.” There will also be an electron microscope demonstration by UW Clean Energy Institute staff to show you what small objects look like up close!

Our speakers will discuss their career paths and take questions from you! You can register for this event at the link below. Once you register, you will receive the link for streaming the presentation on YouTube, and a link for asking questions on Slido during the presentation.
